You chose your inspirational art very well. Your style fits perfectly, and this song reflects the inspiration very well. Very hectic and classic cartoonish. I like the cartoon effects you've used as well. I'll check out the Hannah Barbera cd.

yeah but if you are planning to get one you should get the remastered one. i have the old one

Beautiful song. Works very well as a loop. Though it really tastes like more. I wish it were just an intro to a lengthier song that sounds equally beautiful. Something with a very sensitive solo violin for example.

Satyre responds:

Thanks. I was thinking about that too. I create the loops with the assumption in mind, that the sounds in the same level should spice up the loop and be a support to let the general music sound different every time a player starts a level. Maybe I should give it a try to create a song instead of a loop in the future :)

Cool song. You really get this post apocalyptic feeling from it. I like the wind and bird tweets. Very fitting.

Thonz responds:

Thanks a lot SourJovis!

Wow man. That's a great song. I like the sounds of the gears producing the rhythm. Like listening to a machine that makes music. Nice glitching effects.

Epic indeed. I like the choir and the percusion. Perhaps you can add tubular bells to make it even more epic. I think it fits.

When a song lifts your spirit, you know it's right. That's why I know this is a good song. I like the sounds you use. Particularly the ones of the orchestra hits with those chord stabs, the in between melodies, and the snare with echo.

JoshuaHughes responds:

Means a lot to me, dude! Glad you got something from it.

This song sounds really mystical. It fits the inspiration art in that respect. The instruments all sound very organic, though some sound very outer worldly, and that makes the song more magical.

A lot happens in this song. The piano at the beginning sounded very dissonant. I wasn't sure what to think of it. After around 1:33 it started to become really interesting though. Very unusual song. I like the rhythm and originality.

This song very well reflects the duality of the artwork (which I like as well). The tranquil beautiful first part for the top half, and the menacing vehement part for the lower half. I like the sounds you use. Your composition is also great. A joy to listen to. Favourited it.

Emid responds:

I am really thankful to you for your very encouraging comment. My pleasure that you enjoyed. And sorry for the late reply as am busy in taking care of my baby girl. Thanks again.

I have no words to describe how good this is. I wish I could compose and play as serious and good as you can. I'm sure you will place high in the competition.

Thanks SourJovis for this kind review.

I'm a musician. Check out my band Botsing. I also make music for games, animations, short films, vlogs, etc and I write scripts, record sound effects, animate and voice act.
