Good pixel art. Good luck with the album. Looking forward to it.

UltimoGames responds:

Thankyou, we will announce it on the Newgrounds news page when it is out! Still a lot of music & art to be made though.

Looks real cool. I imagine this would be a great game if it existed back in the 90s. Would definitely want to play it in those days... I guess I still would.

SuperPhil64 responds:

Thanks! I wish I had been more of a programmer so I could have made more game projects into reality. At least I can make visual representations of them. ^_^'

I love the Souledge. It always looks so bad ass and your art really does it justice. I like the fire, the particles and the blinking eye.

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

Thx man!
It was difficult but fun to make, and definitely nostalgic.
Also glad to see the smaller details being noticed ~
I wish more of the games came to Nintendo plats lol

Cool artwork! You'll need a very wide television to play this game.

Edit: Alright. I've heard about those cabinets. Never seen them in real life. Makes sense.

ScepterDPinoy responds:

It's based on an arcade cabinet in vein like the Darius games 720p each. It’s hypothetical though.

Great to see the character come to life. Very well drawn. I like the cool colours and the futuristic style.

Troisnyx responds:

Thank you! Yeah, when I first drew her I thought, "Pico is orange / green, Nene is pink, Darnell is purple / yellow, what's the missing colour? Blue---" and then set about to draw her with that colour primarily. Glad that colour and that look kinda stuck; this is the refinement of that first drawing.

Very nice. I like the waving palm trees, and how detailed it all is.

AuroraPLZ responds:

Thank you!

Made me forget what the original sprite in the first game looks like. That's a good thing. This one has the same feel, though it looks at least 10x better.

JinnPixel responds:

Thank you very much!!

I saw her too, in August! She's great!

dylan responds:

hands down my favorite live performer!

Looks very inviting. Gives a good impresion of the game. I like how the art style of the poster is the same as the game, though it's logical since it's both you. Still nice how it works well in both instances. I like the poster a little better though. The poster has a certain organic feel the game lacks. The poster looks more artsy. Perhaps you should've given the game the same paper texture.

Guy-Unger responds:

thanks man!
I was trying some papery art style but its so difficult in flash

Seen it somewhere before. Did you show it to me earlier? Very well drawn. I like the cute style in contrast with the badassness. It has something very artsy about it too, just like your games. Coincidentally I did some sketches about a character named Bat Boy. Who was just a boy with a baseball bat. Naturally I drew parallels with Batman as well.

Guy-Unger responds:

It's my newgrounds profile pic ;)
haha, what a funny coincidence

I'm a musician. Check out my band Botsing. I also make music for games, animations, short films, vlogs, etc and I write scripts, record sound effects, animate and voice act.
