Hi SourJovis! I was just wondering if this project was still in the works anymore. It's been a while since we last spoke =)

Hey FoxPirate715. It has indeed been a while. I'd love to see this project finished after all of the work you, the other voice actors and I put into it. To be honest I don't have much faith in it anymore. When the programer (Michal Janiak) asked me aboard we had great ideas, that got bigger and bigger. I was asked to handle the voice acting because my English was better than Michal's, I wrote most of the screenplay and I had most experience with voice acting. In retrospect I shouldn't have dragged all of you into this, because so much depended on the programmer. Right after I got all of the recordings in, Michal told me the deadline for the game was ridiculously close (he was making it for school). I knew he was never going to make it. In the end he finished the game without any story or sound whatsoever. He said he was going to remake the game later, the way we intended it, but I don't believe he could manage it. The game he showed me was miles away from what we had in mind. This is what he told me:

"You can tell voice actors if you want that SHMUP is being remade under new engine with 3d graphics and all fireworks and fancy stuff so I can finally use your music and their lines.

What I cannot guarantee is that it will be done soon, as its being made as part time thing, HND is merciless and my day job is helping it."

This was on 02-09-2013. I haven't been able to contact him since. I'm pretty sure we won't see anything of it.

I've asked other programers to finish it, but nobody is willing. All of the programers have more ideas of their own than they can execute anyway, let alone finish someone else's ideas.

Maybe I can release all we have as some sort of animated storyboard, with all of the voice acting, drawings, background music and sound effects. Maybe that will get people exited to finish the project. If not at least we can show what we have done so far to the outside world.
